WHOM DID YOU GO TO THE WILDERNESS TO SEE?

Image
But what went ye out to see? a prophet? Yea, I say to you, and more than a prophet: Matt 11:9 -Darby     This is he of whom it is written, Behold, *I* send my messenger before thy face, who shall prepare thy way before thee.  Mat 11:10 – Darby In our walk with God, we need to be careful of whom we seek / walking with  else we will be like John the Baptist. May we always see the Alpha and Omega,  the Almighty in the Wilderness.

THE KING OF THE JEWS

John 19: 19 “ And Pilate wrote a title also, and put it on the cross. And there was written, JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS”. The original name for the people we call Jews was Hebrew. Hebrew was first used in the Torah (first five book of Moses) Gen. 14:13 . The Jews now refers to all physical and spiritual descendants of Jacob. At the time of Jesus birth, King Herod was not at ease when he heard about the birth of the “King of the Jews” (Matt. 2:2) The Jews never believed in Jesus as the Son of God talk more of believing in him as their King, rather they saw Caesar as their King. However, Christ was not referring to himself as the physical king of the Jews. It was more spiritual than physical which was beyond the human Interpretation of the Jews. John 18:36 “Jesus answered, my kingdom is not of this world : if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence”. The Living Being

Image
"And the lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being" - Gen. 2:7 Even after creating the universe including plants and animals, God still found the need for the existence of man. He formed man from the dust of the ground, he also knew that without breath man will be useless though it is has been formed. He went ahead to give man the breath of life.  God Formed Man It is only him God that gives breathe and it is through him that man is living.  The formation + Breathe = Living Being.       It is through him that i am living and because of this reason i am met to live my life in a way God desires.        Lord Jesus, each day of my life may i always remember that without you forming me and your breathe of life; i would never be in existence . May i always uphold your status and plan for my life in Jesus Name. Amen

PROFITABLE FOR NOTHING

How possible is it to be profitable for nothing? Every living soul has a purpose meant to achieve. Going against that purpose simple implies being profitable for nothing. For instance every inventions developed has a purpose/reason to be invented, which is to satisfy a specific need. The same applies to us, we are instruments in God's hand meant to satisfy a specific need to the desire of the inventor (Christ). Every creature on earth has a purpose for his creation and the moments such creature drifts away from such purpose, instantaneously the creature becomes profitable for nothing. When we are driven by our own selfish desires for fame, wealth, power, authority and so on; we tend to loose focus of God's expectation and purpose for our life. At this point we forget how precious we are in God's sight. He speaks to us whenever we starts to drift away but because of our eagerness to achieve our own desires we become deaf to his speaking hence cannot hear him. H

HOW TO OVERCOME THE WICKED ONE.

Image
1 John 2:14b  "I have written to you young men . Because you are strong and the word of God abides in you and you have overcome the wicked one".   The question now is how much of the word of God do we know. We've neglected this word of God a lot and has taken it very casual and unserious. In this age where there are many philosophies propaganded by many philosophers and fake teachers.  One of the criteria and possible means to overcome in this age and the wicked one is by being strong and abiding in the world of God. We need to hid the word of God in our hearts just as the psalmist said "Your word have I hidden in my heart that I may not sin against you (psalm 119:11)"
